One of the key next steps in our pursuit of St John's is developing a business plan that illustrates revenue and costs and effectively balances the interests of community and commerce. To start this process we invite Arts4Every1 members and other Wycombe organisations and individuals to submit ideas, contributions and provisional bookings for the next five years.

Whether it's an art exhibition, drama performance, music concert, workshops, term-time or holiday activities, festival, community or business events we need to start scoping out how we can maximise usage of the centre.

Ah that's how you do it!! Like I say, not much of a contribution yet - I'm sure it will develop over time!

Hi Mike,
Let me know if you need any help with collation of results from your questions.

Wycombe Philharmonic Choir is a not for profit group of about 70 people who sing for pleasure, and we hold about 6 to 8 concerts a year, usually in churches in Wycombe and surrounding villages, and sometimes with an orchestra. We usually have audiences in the range100 to 300. We need a warm up area, so we can get our voices going prior to entering the performing area, and/or a coat room. Access to refreshments is also welcome. We frequently require an organ. We usually make our own tickets, and distribute them ourselves. We spend little on marketing our events, but would welcome the opportunity to have access to better marketing. We sometimes donate to charity if we have surplus funds, and sometimes we perform for a charity.
