I love the fact that I can get practically everything I need all within easy distance, and we even have a theatre!

Most beautiful town in England. Met my American husband there in 1966. I was at RAF HW, he at USAF HW. We both remember HW fondly.

I spent most of my childhood in and around High Wycombe so lots of memories. Happily married now and living in High Wycombe together.. what's not to love!

Looks like we are going to Cardiff in September, will make a trip to High Wycombe to see how much it changed. The last time we were there was about 1983 for our 15th anniversary. We stopped in the pub by railway station that all of us GI's used to frequent, the same lady was behind the bar. She remembered me and said, Well Andrew, haven't seen you in a while. I shocked her when I told her it was almost 15 yrs. Can't remember pub's name!

Remember now, the Flint, looks like spring now. All relatives seem to be going on holiday during september.
