The Wyconbe Winter Night Shelter is a 3 month project January - March. However, advocacy support is now all year round for past guests & new clients who come at any time. The logo speaks of 7 nights in 7 venues run by 7 teams but being 1 Shelter.See More

Bridgebuilder - for 7 years until 2007, Manager of The HUB at Union Baptist Church. A home for meetings, training and events of many faith and non-faith groups but all aiming at people's well-being - body, soul and spirit. I have a personal interest in Criminal Justice matters (I am a magistrate) and those that enter the system or are heading that way. I led a team that put together the Breaking the Circles of Crime, Drugs, Drink and Homelessness event in April 2007 that brought together agencies, statutory bodies, charities and the faith community. A member of the Wycombe Winter Night Shelter Executive and a member of a working party envisaging a Bucks-wide Community Chaplaincy to prisoners on release. A Christian, but working in partnership with members of the High Wycombe Central Mosque in initiatives that adress community (re)building in ways that do not (need to) compromise distinctiveness in our faiths or indeed the faith (or non faith) of others. The faith community appreciates the opportunity to share with many community interests on WycombeNetwork.com.

Thank you, David, I live in Chesham and in a similar vein, the 'B's' are my forte!! Includes baking but try not to shout it from the rooftops... Uncanny that I have my own beeswax and Encaustic art using just that is my favourite.
