Has anyone else here been targeted by scammers and time wasters. I've had three coming to try and make 'friends' with me. Only today- someone called 'Jane'. Watch out for the bad spelling mistakes and asking us to contact them directly. Very seductive language too

Looking for a new website designer can be a confusing process. Almost every company will tell you they are the best, and they will give you all the traffic in the world straight through to your site. It sounds too good to be true, and in all honesty it probably is.
Website design is a type of computer programming. That aspect of the process has been eroded over the past few years by…

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) recently published an article in their member's publication the Voice, relating to Social Media Marketing (SMM). At Artlines Media, many people we speak to believe it is not for them or their type of business. Usually this is because of time restraints when running a small business on your own, a fear of technology or a lack of knowledge when it comes to newer marketing methodologies.
So if you have shied away from using Facebook, Twitter and…

A brand should mean something. Like people, the most influential have always stood for something and let their feelings guide them in everything they do. A brand should also do remarkable things. Quiet, grey, boring brands appear almost invisible. At Artlines Media we prefer a brand to shout out, get noticed and be remembered. Buying trends have also changed. We can no longer herd the buying public like sheep. Instead we have to influence them in an intelligent way.
Finally, the…

Many starting a new business search for premises in their home town. Let's face it it's practical, it saves fuel costs and cuts down on travelling time during the daily commute. Artlines Media is no different, however we also believe that High Wycombe has more to offer than just a new shopping centre, a division 1 football team and an historic chair making industry.
Since the development of Eden, the town's new multi-million pound shopping experience, much of the town has had a face…

Keyword and Key-phrase density provides a more successful result when it comes to SEO conversion. Imagine two complete circles side by side with space between them. On one side we have the search terms and keywords used by internet users looking for your product/ services. The other circle represents the words and phrases you believe they are using. Words you perhaps focus on in the content on your website.
Now merge the two circles together a little. In the middle, where both…

In the new global investment landscape, banks, institutions and private investors are looking hard to find opportunities that maximise their returns. But in this new landscape the criteria for investment decisions need to be more than financial. Decisions must reflect the massive changes that have occurred throughout the UK and global economy and moreover, the new perceptions people have of poor corporate governance, lack of corporate social responsibility and declining standards in public and…
